Weekend Trip

This past weekend we headed to our hometown to spend some time with family. There was a birthday party for my niece as well so off we went. Little man always does well on planes. He normally just falls asleep and all is well. I wonder about the days where napping isn't always going to be an option and how those flights well play out. For now I am thankful for the naps (and the fact that he is still of age to fly for free!)

Anywho here are a few photos to share with you.

My mom and I took little man, my little brother and my niece to the zoo one of the days.

This was one of the largest female lions I have ever seen! She was twice the size of the male one below!

They had a little splash pad for the kiddos-just in case you wondered why they were wet.

Then there was the birthday party for my niece. It was held at an indoor play center. It had many options for things to do as well as food.

There was also face painting, huge jungle gym with slides, bumper boats and cars as well.

Over all the trip was a success. Even though it was a good trip there is nothing like the feeling of getting home and sleeping in your own bed!
