Weekending!

There isn't much to report from this weekend. Baseball, church, and more baseball.

Friday, the oldest dude had practice. When the schedule came out and it showed we had Friday practice I groaned. Friday evenings are the start to the weekend and once hubby comes home I look forward to relaxing and family time instead of hauling everyone to practice. But you know what? Its about perspective. We headed to practice with a cooler in tow. Full of cool drinks for the kids and a beer or two for the adults and a bag of sunflower seeds. The boys practiced and then the parents sat around and talked while the kids continued to play catch and run around past sundown. It ended up being perfect. Our hot sweaty, pink cheeked boys climbed into the van and we called it a night.

Saturday morning oldest dude had a baseball game... then we headed for burgers and milkshakes. With full bellies we headed home and get this...all laid down for a several hour nap. It was glorious.
We woke up to run errands and let the boys go and spend some gift cards at the toy store. Since we had a nap and because of some overnight thunderstorms hubby and I stayed up late netflixing...binge watching our current show...

Sunday we woke up for church. It was oldest dudes last day of catechism. Mass is a priority for us even if we spend the majority of the service shushing the little ones it still is so worth it.

Oldest dude had some batting practice so we picked up some coffees and headed over. -teamdunkindonuts

We headed back to our church because L then had a game. L and N are so different ...watching them play is two very different experiences. But at the end of it they both still have fun.

Some pictures from our weekend.

My four year old looking too old for my liking

hubby gets mad because I'm boring and only get lime every single time

my tomato plant is doing pretty well...but I noticed some leaves are turning yellow... i hope i'm not killing my next plant
