Weekending!

Weekend got here quick but also seemed to fly by just as quick. So here we are with a new week. We are going to enjoy summer and all that it has to offer but we will be continuing some of our home school routines and learning. Lots of reading and art and math! But anywho this was a little of our weekend...
Friday we spent the day at Morgan's Wonderland. It is a local theme parked that was built for people with special needs. All of their rides and activities are wheel chair accessible. It has a ton of activities for littles. Catch and release fishing...water tables.to..rides..parks/swings... sand pits to play in just to name a few.

In the evening there was baseball practice for the older one. It was hot and humid and miserable.
We ventured on to Dunkin Donuts so mama could get a coffee and since it was National Donut Day...

Then Saturday...we actually didn't have an early game to be at so we were excited to sleep in... but then we remembered we had four kids and laughed at our excitement. Lol but really... I woke up early with the kids and made breakfast. Then hubby took over and let me take a much needed glorious nap.
We had baseball game scheduled but the other team forfeited so we were left without any plans. We made the decision to head to Gruene to eat lunch and hang out.

the cheese and tomato topped squash is the best thing ever

we always try local beers

stuffed jalapenos are a must!

frozen sangria!
The rest of the weekend included church, baseball, and randomness...
paper football at lunch
the clouds were on gorgeous display all weekend

Oldest dude's baseball team ended up making the playoffs so our week is dedicated to baseball once more and then we should be done... I love me some baseball but looking forward to a break in schedule. Happy Monday! Have a good week.
