I'm sitting here happily exhausted. We just returned from our trip to San Diego. We had so much fun! Now we are just trying to get the kiddos adjusted to the time difference and get out of under the piles of laundry.
Here are some of the things we did.
Legoland!
| so many awesome displays of legos |
| plenty of age appropriate rides for little man |
yup a spider made out of legos...equally as creepy as the real thing
The park also had an aquarium to walk through. There were also lego displays among the real animals.
| biggest crab I have ever seen |
| starfish that you were allowed to touch |
We also visited Del Mar racetrack. The racetrack is huge and gorgeous.
We ate at an awesome seafood place in downtown near the water. We got to see some ships and boats and just happened to be out there as the sun was setting.
And of course the beach! It was both boys' first time. Water was a bit chilly but it was so much fun.

We had an amazing time. The weather there is just gorgeous. Always comfortable with a slight breeze. Legoland was fun and although obviously the baby was too small for anything there, it was very age appropriate for the toddler. Even though San Diego has many awesome attractions and parks and such I could have made the trip just the beach alone and it would have been just as perfect.
