I mentioned in a recent post about visiting a pumpkin patch. We have since visited another one since there was different activities to do.
Activities included painting pumpkins, a hay ride, and a science center with different stations.
Then there was pumpkin carving. Some friends of ours came over to watch football and carve pumpkins. I have pictures to prove it so yes the toddler was there, but unlike previous years he didn't want any part of digging out the insides. He had a say in our designs and that is about it.

We used the pumpkin seeds from our night of carving to glue onto a paper pumpkin. The seeds were still slimy o that with the glue was an awesome sensory experience. We added some counting of the seeds and talks of colors. Topped it all off with a sprinkle of glitter because glitter is always fun.
And here are some other pumpkin happenings in our home:

These two are workings of the hubby..he is quite the artist!
And the weather finally cooled some so with that and all of these pumpkins I am a happy camper!
Happy Fall!
